Mitzper Ramon
That's the Mitzper Ramon, the world's biggest geological crater.
It's a gigantic desert place that we drove down into in our rickety van. I think
if our van kaputted, we'd die thirstily along with it. We had a walk around a
prismic knoll, made out of blocky black rocks. Driving further, we had lunch in
a Bedouin tent where we paid monopoly prices for the pita with salad and labani
and humous. There is also a Bio Ramon, which houses some of the native creatures
that live in the crater : scorpions, black widows, vipers, tortoises, beetles,
lizards and a young pretty Jewish girl who showed us around.
