The Salon 

The section on the right is the living area cum hair salon, which First Aunt runs.

When I was a teenager, I used to hang around here to read the chinese women's magazines in the drawers. They contain a remarkable wealth of information that a male teenager would be interested in. After a few years of leafing through the precious pages, I finally noticed that the turnover rate of the magazines was very low.  

Luckily, by then I'd already learnt all I needed to know.  >>
