Top of the Stairs

 
This is the top of the stairs. Where we put our shoes. The door ahead leads to the washing area. The wooden-slat gate is primarily installed to prevent my numerous little young nieces and nephews from tumbling down the steps.

As you can see, I don't have anything to say about this but I do like the way the shadows play on the floor.  >>
