The 'Old Shop' 
 

Grandpa came from China with virtually nothing but the shirt on his back.

He worked very hard, and eventually through the years made enough money to set up a goldsmith and a front-end shop. It is now the focal point of our family, almost a hallowed ground even.

We now have two branches of shops around the area of Masjid Tanah. Which is why we now call the old shop the 'old shop'. >>
